Beyond the fairways, toward something meaningful
Last week, Neptune Homes hosted its first ever Charity Golf Day, bringing together suppliers, partners, and industry friends for a day on the course with a shared purpose. The event raised $31,742 for The Cancer Council, marking a milestone we’re incredibly proud of as a business and a community.
Held under clear skies and plenty of competitive spirit, the day was designed to be more than just golf. It was an opportunity to connect outside of the day-to-day, strengthen relationships, and contribute to a cause that touches so many lives.
From the first tee-off through to the final putt, the course was filled with a mix of friendly rivalry and plenty of conversation. Teams moved through the rounds at their own pace, with just enough pressure to keep things interesting and just enough laughs to keep it relaxed.
Beyond the golf itself, the day included fundraising activities that all played a part in reaching the final total. Every contribution, whether on or off the course, helped build towards something that will make a real difference.
We’re grateful to everyone who supported the event, including our suppliers and partners who contributed to making the day possible, as well as those who attended and participated. The response and willingness to get involved helped turn an idea into a successful first event.
This was our first Charity Golf Day, but it won’t be our last. We’re already looking at how to build on it for next year and continue growing it into something even more impactful.
Most importantly, we’re proud that the day will go on to support the important work of The Cancer Council.
