50 Year Structural Warranty

Neptune Homes 50-year guarantee is our commitment to you that our homes are built to stay strong for many years to come. We want to give you peace of mind, knowing that you have made the right decision in choosing to build with Neptune Homes.

At Neptune Homes, we pride ourselves on the quality and workmanship of our homes. In the unlikely event that there is a major structural element defect in your home, please notify us in writing immediately. If your home is subject to a major structural element defect, it will be fixed by Neptune at our own cost within a reasonable time after receiving your notice.

This warranty covers major structural element defects, attributable to defective design or workmanship. The structural elements of your home are those elements which are essential to the building’s stability and structural integrity, namely, the frame, roof trusses, slab, piers, and footings.

This warranty will protect your home from structural defects for 50 years after the date of your Practical Completion Inspection. Our warranty covers the foundation systems, concrete or strip footings, load bearing brick work, structural timbers and steel in wall or roof framing, but does exclude the following defects, namely: this includes situations where the defect results in the building or part of the building being unsuitable for use, physical damage to the building or the building posing physical damage or collapse.

There are some conditions under which our guarantee becomes void. These include if you have carried out structural alterations or additions to the property, or if the damage has been caused by a lack of reasonable maintenance or action to minimise damage. You should take care to maintain your home over its lifetime, including major maintenance activities such as replacing roof tiles after their useful life. This will protect the structural integrity of your home and minimise the likelihood of your guarantee becoming void.

Defects due to your misuse or neglect, or failure on your part to properly maintain your home, or by the misuse of your home, after the Practical Completion Inspection of your home has occurred will not be covered under this warranty. In addition to other maintenance precautions, the CSIRO’s Guide to Foundation Maintenance and Footing Performance can guide you on how to care for your new home after completion.

The everyday ageing of your home is also not covered by our guarantee. This includes shrinkage and minor settlement cracks and normal wear and tear. Damage caused by an act of nature which exceeds that allowed for by the relevant Australian Standards or good building practice is also not covered.

Our guarantee will cover any structural defects for the original purchaser of any Neptune Homes property. This guarantee will become void if you have transferred or sold the property.

PRIVACY POLICY

At Neptune Homes we care about your privacy and we’re committed to protecting your personal information. The purpose of this Policy is to define how Neptune Homes Pty Ltd and any related bodies handle your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (‘Privacy Act’) and the Privacy Amendment (Enhancing Privacy Protection) Act 2012. In this Privacy Policy, the expressions “Neptune Hoems”, “we”, “us” and “our” are references to Neptune Homes Pty Ltd and any related bodies.

How We Collect Personal Information

Personal Information is defined as information or an opinion that can identify or can reasonably identify an individual. Neptune Homes only collects personal information, which is reasonably necessary for its dealings with the relevant individual. We may collect your information in person by sales and customer service staff, websites, social media pages, smart phone applications, phone calls and at a display sites and other installations on paper forms or electronic devices. We may also collect information that you divulge to us if you provide products and/or services to Neptune Homes.

What Personal Information We Collect

Neptune Homes collects the types of personal information required to assist with providing our products and services or informing you about them. This information includes but is not limited to basic contact information such as your name, phone number, address, and email address. We may also collect additional information at other times, including but not limited to, when you provide feedback, change your content or email preferences, respond to a survey, or communicate with Neptune Homes customer support.

How We Use Your Personal Information

By submitting your personal information, you consent to Neptune Homes disclosing personal information that we collect:

• to our related entities, employees, contractors or agents;
• to others that you have been informed of at the time any personal information is collected from you;
• to our professional advisors;
• to our marketing agencies;
• to organisations that acquire all or part of our assets or business; and
• to government and regulatory authorities.

You also consent to Neptune Homes utilising this personal information to:

• provide your with products or services;
• complete an activity that you have chosen to undertake;
• administer Neptune Homes’ relationship with you;
• monitor online activity on our website(s) and/or applications(s);
• market, improve and add to Neptune Homes’ products and services.

Personal Information Utilised For Marketing Purposes

Neptune Homes may use your personal information to send marketing material to you, where you reasonably expect Neptune Homes to use the information for that purpose. We may provide marketing communications and targeted advertising to you on an ongoing basis via email and telephone in accordance with applicable laws such as the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and Do Not Call Register Act 2006 (Cth).

Your prior consent will be obtained before personal information is used for marketing purposes in situations where you would not reasonably expect. Neptune Homes to use the information for that purpose.

Updates to Our Privacy Policy

Neptune Homes reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at their discretion, effective immediately upon updating this website. Please return periodically to ensure you are up to date with our current Privacy Policy.

PROMOTIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Ultimate Price Guarantee

1. The Ultimate Price Guarantee Promotion will refund any total reduction in the applicable house design base price inclusive of promotional charges.
2. The timeframe for the calculation is based on the initial deposit date to the date Building Approval is received.
3. Any reduction will be reviewed at Building Approval stage by Neptune Homes Pty Ltd. This calculation is at the absolute discretion of Neptune Homes Pty Ltd.
4. Any reduction if applicable will be applied as a credit on a Post Contract Variation, refundable at Practical Completion stage claim.
5. Site Commencement must occur a maximum of 365 calendar days from the initial deposit date or the Ultimate Price Guarantee Promotion will be deemed null & void.
6. The Ultimate Price Guarantee Promotion is not applicable to homes sold on any price list dated prior to the 10/07/2023.

Ultimate Price Guarantee including 12 month price lock is available to homes with initial deposits paid on or after 10/07/2023 with Thrive or Brilliance inclusion. For the 12-month Price Lock Guarantee to apply you must enter a HIA Building Contract with Neptune Homes Pty Ltd within 3-months from your initial deposit date, and you must have the 12-month Price Lock Guarantee noted in your Contract Specification document. This promotional offer will provide you with a guaranteed and fixed contract price transparency for a period of 12-months; with 8-months from the initial deposit date being included at no additional cost, and up to an additional four-months being included at a fixed rate of 1.5% of Contract Price per month (Fixed Extension Rate). Giving you peace of mind for a period of twelve-months from your initial deposit date.

Note: This additional monthly charge is only applied to the Contract should Commencement not occur within 8-months from your initial deposit date, for reasons outside the control of Neptune Homes Pty Ltd, including but not limited to land registration, permit or covenant approval, finance approval etc.

Note: In the event Commencement has not occurred within 12-months from your initial deposit date, for reasons outside the control of Neptune Homes Pty Ltd, including but not limited to land registration, permit or covenant approval, finance approval etc, then the contract price is subject to review at the discretion of Neptune Homes Pty Ltd.

Registered Land $25k Reward

Available on all initial deposits paid on or after 07/11/2022 with Thrive and Brilliance inclusions. HIA Building Contract must be entered with Neptune Homes within 3-months from your initial deposit date. Appropriate evidence demonstrating proof of land registration and land ownership must be provided to Neptune Homes head office prior to the date 3-months from your initial deposit date. This evidence must be in the form of a rates notice or land settlement letter, which clearly illustrates the title holder of the land and matches the client details with Neptune Homes on the relevant new home estimate and/or HIA Building Contract. Should these conditions not be met, Neptune Homes Pty Ltd reserves the right to retract this offer. This offer is not available on new home builds that require any elevated level of council assessment, including but not limited to build over sewer applications, boundary relaxations, material change of use applications etc. This offer is only to be used in the Envision Studio on upgraded items, and otherwise, cannot be redeemed as cash or credit.
